Rajesh Vedanthan, MD, MPH, is the director of the Section for Global Health in the Department of Population Health at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine.  He is associate professor in the Departments of Population Health and Medicine/Cardiology. His area of interest is implementation research, global health delivery, global cardiology, capacity-building, and the intersection of health and development. He is the principal investigator or co-investigator of multiple NIH grants, focusing on implementation research to develop and evaluate innovative solutions to optimize cardiovascular and risk factor care delivery in low-resource settings worldwide. He is the executive director of AMPATH Ghana.
